Welcome to Sparrows Rest

Our Vision

Our vision is to improve the outcomes of children in the foster care system in Virginia by providing older youth with educational opportunities to learn independent living skills, identify and hone their creative talents and abilities, and be mentored by caring adults in the community. There will be recreational activities where the children can experience fun and have a chance to "be kids." Equine assisted growth and learning opportunities utilizing the EAGALA model will be provided on an individual and group basis.

Our Organization

Sparrows Rest is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization incorporated in the Commonwealth of Virginia. We are a public charity and are registered with the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
